Summary, model-written

Skyline Mall opened in 1977 as an enclosed shopping center with over thirty tenants, including a Safeway, Peoples drugstore, and a twelve‑screen cinema. In 2002 Target Corporation purchased the property and demolished most of the mall to build a Target store and a fitness center. The site now operates as those retail uses.

Why. The record does not state specific reasons for the mall’s closure or Target’s acquisition.

Where it stands. The former mall site is currently occupied by a Target store and fitness center, owned by Target Corporation since its 2002 purchase.

For a developer

  • Site size is not provided in the record
  • Control: Target Corporation has owned the parcel since the 2002 sale
  • Entitlement stage: retrofit completed in 2002 for retail use
  • Constraints from flood, transit, or environment and market signals from tract data are not detailed in the record

What we do not know yet

  • Exact parcel size and boundaries are missing
  • Current tenant mix beyond the Target store and fitness center is unspecified
  • Environmental constraints such as floodplain or wetlands are not detailed
  • Transit access and surrounding road network are not described
  • The record is marked as 'draft' verification, indicating possible unreviewed extraction
